What are they?

These are thin, rigid discs made of eco-friendly beeswax that cover the areola and nipple. They're very comfortable and practical to use. They don't need to be cleaned before or after use, they don't mark clothing, they don't deteriorate with use, and they don't need to be molded to fit. They're placed directly on the skin and stay in place with the bra, but they don't replace absorbent pads.

It does not contain paraffins nor has it been exposed to high temperatures.

Properties:

  • It has moisturizing, healing, calming and anti-inflammatory properties, thanks to beeswax.
  • Propolis is antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral.

Made from 100% organic beeswax, this product is suitable for cracked nipples. It provides relief from discomfort, dryness, sensitivity, cracking, itching, and flaking. It is reusable, biodegradable, and eco-friendly. It avoids direct contact with the bra.

This product can be used as a preventative measure before the 38th week of pregnancy, proven effective for 2 hours daily. It can also be applied during breastfeeding, 1 hour after each feeding, without the need to clean the breast. After surgery and suture removal, Mamaceram can also be used to promote recovery.

How long should we use them?

During pregnancy, a maximum of 2 to 3 hours per day. During the period of adaptation to breastfeeding, we will place the waxes after each feeding, without cleaning the breast, for a maximum of 1 hour after each feeding. After surgery, they can be used for 2 to 3 hours per day. There is no need to wash the breast before or after feeding. They are harmless to both the baby and the mother and do not affect odor or taste.

During pregnancy, we can use the nipples smeared with a drop of olive oil, preferably extra virgin, to activate its properties.

During breastfeeding, we use it after each feeding without cleaning the breast, the baby's milk and saliva will activate the properties of the nipples.

They can also be used in cases of post-breast surgery, after the suture material has been removed.

What precautions are necessary?

As long as we store them in their organic cotton bag, they'll be protected, but if necessary, they can be washed with water and mild soap and left to air dry. Do not expose them to high temperatures or direct sunlight. Be careful not to drop them, as they may break. Placing them in the refrigerator will provide extra relief. Additionally, brushing them with organic cold-pressed olive oil will enhance their properties.

DELIVERY TIME

Orders are usually delivered within 24/48 hours for items in stock. However, there may be some delays, as transport is carried out by an external entity.

SHIPPING COSTS : Depending on the total weight of the order, shipping costs vary between €4.50 and €10 for national deliveries (Mainland Portugal). For orders over €100, shipping is free! For islands or abroad, the price increases, and can be checked at checkout.

HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER? Whenever we ship your order, we add the Tracking Number to your personal account and also send it by email 🙂

IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHANGE THE DELIVERY ADDRESS OF AN ORDER? Simply send an email to ola@gotu.pt, mentioning the order number and the new shipping address, or call us and we'll take care of the rest!

CAN I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY ORDER AFTER PAYMENT? Any change or cancellation must be requested by email to ola@gotu.pt . Please contact us, mentioning the order number, so that we can proceed with the change or cancellation/refund. The shipping costs of the item for return are the responsibility of the customer.

 

EXCHANGES

During 15 days after receipt, and if for any valid reason the item is not ideal for you, or does not fit, please contact us 🙂 The shipping costs of the item for exchange are borne by the customer.

I RECEIVED AN EXCHANGED ITEM... In the case of exchanged items, or incorrect orders, we will arrange for the correct shipment of the items and subsequent collection of the incorrect items, at no additional cost.

THE ORDER ARRIVED DAMAGED. Take as many photographs as possible, or film the condition of the order, and send them to us at ola@gotu.pt along with the order number, and we will get in touch and help resolve the case!
