Method of Use: After breastfeeding, leave a drop of milk on the silver shields and place them on the nipple like a suction cup. They should be worn under the bra. There is no need to wash the shields before breastfeeding. However, if you feel your baby is uncomfortable with the smell of any milk residue, you can gently wash the shields without irritating them. Do not apply any type of cream in contact with the silver. You can use the silver shields all day long, removing them only to breastfeed and bathe. Use them whenever you feel the need; their regenerative properties are always active. They can be used indefinitely as they have no usage limit.
Cleaning and Maintenance: To clean the Silverette® shields, prepare a paste with water and baking soda, apply it over the entire surface, rinse, and dry.

To meet the diverse needs of new mothers, the original Silverette® increases its diameter and also offers the XL version. Silverette ® XL was created for mothers who have an areola (the circular area around the nipple) of at least 4.5 cm or larger. If this is your case, choose this size. This way, the XL model adheres perfectly to the breast, respecting the anatomical shape of the areola and nipple without causing any discomfort.

There are some producers on the market who sell silver shields as “pure 999 silver”; in reality, these are products made of another material with only a silver plating. Simply rub the shield with sandpaper to reveal the core of the product, often copper, to which many people are allergic.
