How it works

From the first item to the last gift.

Create the registry

Log in to your gotu.pt account, give your registry a name, and confirm the address where the gifts should be sent.
Add items

Each product in the shop has a button to add it to your registry. You choose the quantity and can change everything whenever you like.
Send with the invitation

Include the link with the party invitation via WhatsApp, email, or on paper. Whoever opens it immediately sees what still needs to be gifted.
Family gives gifts

Each person chooses, pays, and decides if the gift goes to your home or theirs. The item is marked off the registry at that moment.

Credit for you

The more you're gifted, the more you earn.

When the total gifted amount reaches a certain level, you receive a percentage of everything you've already been gifted as credit to spend at gotu.pt. The credit is issued when you close the registry and Gotu confirms the gifts.

When you close the registry, we confirm the gifts and the credit is added to your gotu.pt account. Use it on any purchase in the shop.

What families ask us.

Does the gift giver need a gotu.pt account?

The registry link is all that's needed. Whoever is giving the gift chooses it and pays as they would for a normal purchase.

Is it suitable for any age?

It is. You can add toys, books, clothes, or shoes from the shop for a first birthday or for an eight-year-old.

Where are the gifts sent?

To the address you provided on the registry, or to the gift giver's home. Those who want to bring the gift to the party choose their own home.

How does the registry update when someone gives a gift?

The item is marked as gifted as soon as payment is confirmed, visible to everyone. This ensures each gift arrives only once.

Can I change the registry after sending the invitation?

Yes. You can add, remove, and change quantities whenever you want, and the link remains the same.

When do I receive the credit?

At the end. When you close the registry, Gotu confirms the gifts and the credit is added to your gotu.pt account. You can use it on any purchase in the store while logged in.

What if a gift is returned?

The value is deducted from the registry total and the item becomes available for someone else to gift.

Can I have more than one registry?

You can have one active registry at a time. Once you close it, you can create the next one.

How long can I receive gifts?

Until you close the registry. Gifts ordered before that time are all counted, even if payment arrives afterwards.
