How Does Rental Work?

The process is designed to be quick and easy:

Transparent Pricing

Our pricing system is simple and transparent:

• Daily Cost: Only €7.50 per day of use.
• Secure Deposit: At the start of the rental, the full value of the seat is required as a deposit.
• Adjusted Refund: At the end of the rental period, after the seat is returned and inspected, the amount corresponding to the days of use (Number of days * €7.50) is subtracted from the deposit, and the remainder is refunded to you.

Practical Example: If you rent a seat with a €300 deposit for 5 days:

• You pay a €229.95 deposit initially.
• The rental cost is 5 days * €7.50/day = €37.50.
• After return, you receive back €300 - €37.50 = €262.50.

Rental Conditions

To ensure a fair and safe service for everyone, the following conditions apply:

• Rental Cost: The daily cost is fixed at €7.50.
• Deposit: The full retail price (RRP) of the seat is always required as a deposit to cover potential damage or loss.
• Shipping and Collection: The costs and logistics for shipping and collecting the seat are the responsibility of gotu and are included in the service.
• Billing Period: The rental day count begins on the day the seat leaves gotu and ends on the day it is returned to our premises.
• Deposit Refund: Issued after the seat is received and inspected, deducting the total rental amount (number of days * €7.50).
• Availability: Rental is subject to the availability of stock reserved for this purpose.
• Time Limit: The maximum rental period will be defined at the time of booking/contract.
• ID Verification: A valid proof of identification may be requested.
• Inspection: We reserve the right to inspect the seat before and after each rental.
• Damage Penalties: Damage beyond normal wear and tear, or loss of the seat, may result in partial or total retention of the deposit.
• Usage Restrictions: Any alteration, modification, or improper use of the car seat is prohibited.
• Usage Monitoring: gotu reserves the right to request information or verify the condition of the seat during the rental period.
