Yesterday we were 3, today we are 8! In order of arrival, we are:

Lili brought to Gotu more than just a passion for aromatherapy and babywearing ; she brought a mother with determination , no holds barred, the voice of all women, a true activist mother who sees every child as having enormous potential, who just needs to be given the right resources.
Furthermore, Lili is the heart of Loja da Gotu, an entrepreneur and a woman who says yes, you are capable of having your own business, even as a mother.

Helder is the playful father ; thanks to him, Gotu is also a toy store. A true childhood dream , finally realized. Since that childhood dream was to help Santa Claus, he decided that Gotu should have the same quality toys made in the elves' workshop. That's where our love for wooden toys, tactile toys, beautiful and high quality toys, began.
Helder is Gotu's real father and, with ease and accomplishment, he carries his children in a babywearing cloth or in a stroller , from one place to the other, tidies everything up, feeds and puts the kids to sleep: from the oldest to the youngest!

• Vasco, the little prince: He was the first son of the Gotu Family and, as he was the prince of the house, he inspired us to want to give more to him and to all children! He is the reason for our demand.
We can only have products worthy of a prince!
Because of him, we don't have shoes: we have respectful footwear and barefoot, for example. Worthy of a true prince's feet.

All of us parents know very well how demanding we are with our first child. This demand has become ingrained in everything we do. And if we do something extra for you and your little ones, it is inspired by Vasco!

• Mimi: The real princess of the house.

And if we thought we were demanding, you have to meet Mi. But she is much more than demanding; she is also a big buttery heart. With Mimi , we decided it was time to step up our family's security and we had to do something to protect them even more.
Thanks to Mimi, we have a huge auto section at Gotu ; it was really necessary, we had to look for the best for ourselves and for others.

Did you know that we choose all of our car seats? There’s no such thing as “but this one or that one has it”. All Gotu car seats are tested too! Thanks to Mi, we also decided to create a non-profit association (Associação Criança Segura), or ACS , a car seat simulator and we work every day to reach as many children and parents as possible, to spread information about car safety and general child safety, both in the summer and at home. We learned from Mi that her demands are there for a reason: why wouldn’t we want the best?

And is the Gotu family just people from home?

No!

This is where we needed urgent help and then Sara appeared! But who is she?

• Sara : Have you ever thought, "The package arrived quickly!"?
She is the one who knows where everything is and what is running out; she is a real database. She is also the mother of two princesses. We believe that she has found a calling in helping us make many families happy.

But there are only five, where are the others?

It was here that the unexpected happened. Another treasure was born: Gabi !

• Gabi : A true explorer, the culmination of everything we have learned about babies, children and growing up. If you have been to Gotu this past year, you will surely know Gabi , the doorman, always waiting for someone to say "Hello!".
Thanks to Gabi , we invested even more in children's nutrition, not only with a section of allergen-free foods , but also with a focus on Baby Led Weaning.

The family at home!

But it was here that we felt our digital presence deserved something more. That’s why our latest additions to Gotu were André and Guida! But who is André? You’ve probably never seen him, but he’s everywhere.

• André : Have you ever used our shoe calculator ? Or have you ever seen the interactive tables on each shoe page? Or even each calculator on each shoe page ? Thanks to André, we can not only automatically calculate the shoe size, but we can also update all the tables every time a new collection arrives in the store, because we measure all the shoes!

Have you ever seen any of our digital content, e-books , for example, or even our social media posts, which are increasingly full of information? We therefore invest in digital content, often free, because we believe that not only are there a lack of resources, but that there is certainly a lack of content in our style.

And Guida ?
• Guida : She is our last assistant in the store, she is also a nursing mother who joined us. There are many of us! To welcome you as you deserve, we always need an extra pair of hands, and with Guida, we are proud of our welcome!

But there is one character missing from this family and that's me!
Hahaha, who am I then?

I didn't come in last. I've always been here. I'm Moki , I'm everything a child represents: the spirit of discovery, the endless curiosity, the continuous learning.

I am in all of Gotu's content. And if you don't know where I live, you just need to look inside yourself, because I have never left your life; you may have stopped being a child, but you have not left the child outside of you.

But the Gotu universe is not just the Gotu family, because we are many more, we are also a community!

There is also Catarina , our mentor who has always been with us and supported us. She teaches us a lot about autism and very real parenting.

Claudia , our physiotherapist and osteopath , who has been taking care of Gabriel since he was born.

Inês also provides breastfeeding and occupational therapy consultations.

We have Nuno , who runs positive parenting workshops , and Sílvia , from whom we learned so much about food allergies and anaphylaxis .

It is with her that we learn to understand which items are safe for so many children.

There are Hugo and Liliana , pediatricians, Ana , Nádia and Patrícia who are family doctors.
Mélanie and Lúcia , physiotherapists, and Joana, who brings us music at her magical events.

And the hundreds of families who recommend us every day, plus many others who grow with us and leave a lasting impression on us.

Every person who comes across Gotu becomes a part of us.
