Gift guideChristening gifts: ideas for godparents, grandparents, and guests
A christening gift lives twice: now, in the baby's hands, and many years from now, when someone opens the memory box and asks who gave it. That is why you choose based on what lasts, and everyone in the family has their own place in that choice.
Choose according to your role in the celebration
Godparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and guests offer different things, and it is good that it is this way: the gifts complement each other instead of repeating. Tell us who you are and how much you want to spend.

Three types of gifts that last
Almost all good christening gifts fit into one of these three categories. If the family divides themselves among them, the baby receives a little of each.
To keep
A memory box or an album for the first photographs. It is where the christening invitation, the hospital bracelet, and the first photograph with the godparents will end up.
To use every day
A muslin or bamboo blanket accompanies the stroller, the bed, and the lap. It is one of the gifts that is used the most, and one of those that is kept the longest afterwards.
To hug
A stuffed animal sized for the baby's hands, soft and easy to wash. Often, it is the one still around the house ten years later.
For sleep, the recommendation for the first year is a crib with the baby on their back and nothing loose inside: no stuffed animals, pillows, or blankets. The stuffed animal and blanket are for the lap, for walks, and for playing.
