Nuna car seats and strollers

Nuna is a Dutch brand for child restraint and childcare products. Here at Gotu, we have car seats, infant carriers, carrycots, strollers, bouncers, and high chairs from the brand available to buy online or in our store in Barcelos.

Rear-facing car seats

The Norr, Pruu, Pruu Aire, and Todl Next are rear-facing from 40 to 105 cm. The R129 standard requires children to travel rear-facing until at least 15 months, and after that, height is the determining factor, not age. The height limit is written on the side label of the seat.

Infant carriers and carrycots for the first few months

The Pipa Next infant carrier goes from 40 to 83 cm, and the Pipa Urbn from 40 to 75 cm. The Arra Next and Arra Flex are lighter alternatives to carry, and the Cari Next carrycot allows the baby to travel lying down, from 40 to 70 cm. They all fit on an ISOFIX base, which ensures the same installation every time.

After 105 cm

When the child exceeds 105 cm, the AACE LX comes in, which goes from 100 to 150 cm or up to 50 kg. It is a high-back booster seat that uses the car's seat belt and adjusts in height as the child grows. The footrest is sold separately.

Strollers, bouncers, and high chairs

The Mixx Next, Triv Next, Ixxa Next, Swiv 360, and Trvl strollers cover everything from urban walks to air travel, and the Demi Grow allows for two seats on the same chassis. Outside the car and away from the street, the Leaf bouncer swings without any motor, and the Zaaz high chair seats the child at the table with the grown-ups.

How to choose

Start with the child's height and the car you have, not the brand. Measure the child, check the centimeter limit of the seat you are currently using, and see if the car has ISOFIX in the places where you need to install it. Only then decide between keeping the child rear-facing longer or switching to forward-facing, knowing that R129 only sets the minimum.

Frequently asked questions

How long can the seat remain rear-facing?

It depends on the model. In the Nuna range we carry, the rear-facing seats are suitable up to 105 cm. What decides this is the height limit of the seat, not the child's age.

Do I really need an ISOFIX base?

It is not mandatory, but it changes the installation. With a base, the infant carrier clicks in and out in seconds, and the risk of installation errors drops significantly. Without a base, it is secured with the car's seat belt and requires attention to the belt path every time.

How do I know the seat has become too small?

Look at where the shoulder straps come out. If the child's shoulders are already above the highest position, or if their head goes beyond the top of the structure, it is time to change.

Do you have everything available immediately?

We also work with supplier stock. If a model or color is not in our shop, we order it and deliver it in about a week.
