Baby Carrier Rental - Babywearing

If you wish to temporarily test a baby carrier, this may be your best choice, whether to understand how it works or to discover more options on the market.

Rental Fee / 7 days = €25

Rental Fee / 14 days = €45

Rental Fee / extra unagreed day = €4

Rental days are counted from the day the carrier is collected by the shipping company until the day it arrives back – always with a tracking number to avoid issues.

Deposit Amount = variable based on the baby carrier

The deposit is refunded at the end of the rental period, subject to the item being received in good condition and minus any multiplication of extra days by the daily rate.

Shipping and collection costs are covered by Gotu.

Rental Conditions
1. Each baby carrier requires a security deposit payment, which will be refunded once the product is returned, along with the rental fee for a predetermined period.

2. After payment confirmation, the baby carrier will be shipped within a maximum of 2 business days. The rental period will start counting from the date it is collected by the shipping company from our address. Shipping will be to the address you provide.

3. The rental period must be respected. You may extend the rental for 7 or 15 days, subject to prior agreement. If you wish to extend the rental, please contact us within your chosen period to check availability. Please note, these are consecutive days, not business days.

4. The costs for shipping and returning the baby carrier are included in the price and are the responsibility of Gotu. You must contact us so we can schedule the item's collection in a timely manner. In most cases, carrier deliveries are made on the next business day.

5. The rented item must be protected and properly packaged to prevent damage during transport. This includes the baby carrier and its corresponding box or packaging.

6. When the baby carrier is returned to Gotu, we will proceed to verify its integrity. In case of damage, the deposit may not be refunded (if the damage is irreparable) or may be partially refunded (the amount necessary for its repair will be deducted). If there is damage, the timeline for the deposit refund will be pending repair quotes and timelines. After the evaluation is complete, we will communicate the amount to be refunded via email.

7. The baby carrier is your responsibility while in your possession. Care for it as if it were your own. Do not use Velcro, staples, glue, or other materials that may damage the carrier's fabric.

8. The full refund of the deposit is dependent on respecting the baby carrier's return deadline. In case of delay, a fixed amount of €3 per day will be deducted, regardless of the baby carrier in question.

9. We will always request IBAN proof for the refund. You will receive the deposit amount, minus any extra days used without agreement and minus any necessary repair costs, if applicable. We process the transfer, with email notification, within 3 business days after the verification process is complete.

10. Inspect the baby carrier upon arrival and upon dispatch. If you notice any damage/issue, contact us immediately with photos/videos of the product so it can be documented and responsibilities ascertained. If the damage compromises your baby's safety, we will send a replacement carrier, free of charge to you, if one is available.

11. Do not wash, dry, or iron the baby carrier. We take care of the proper sanitization upon arrival. All rented baby carriers are ready to use and properly sanitized. In case of an accident during use, use only water and a damp cloth or wipes. Do not rub/scrub the fabric. Remove dirt superficially. If it is absolutely necessary (accidents happen), speak to us first.

13. Gotu is not responsible for accidents that occur during the baby carrier rental. Child safety is the responsibility of the adult using the baby carrier.
