How does the rental work?

The process is designed to be quick and easy:

1. Choose a Chair: Browse the models available for rent on this page.
2. Select the Period: Indicate the dates you need the chair.
3. Book Online: Complete your reservation securely on our website.
4. Collection and Installation: At the time of collection (or before shipping), our team will give a brief demonstration of the correct installation in your vehicle, so that you feel completely safe and confident.

Transparent Prices

Our pricing system is simple and transparent:

• Daily Cost: Only €5 per day of use.
• Secure Deposit: At the beginning of the rental, the total value of the chair is requested as a deposit.
• Adjusted Return: At the end of the rental period, after the chair has been returned and inspected, the amount corresponding to the number of days of use (Number of days * €5) is deducted from the deposit, and the remainder is returned to you.

Practical Example: If you rent a chair whose RRP is €229.95 for 5 days:

• Pay a €229.95 deposit initially.
• The rental cost is 5 days * €5/day = €25.
• After the return, you receive back €229.95 - €25 = €204.95.

Rental Conditions

To ensure a fair and safe service for everyone, the following conditions apply:

• Rental Cost: The daily cost is fixed at €5.
• Deposit: The total retail price (PVP) of the chair is always required as a deposit to cover any damage or loss.
• Shipping and Collection: The costs and logistics of shipping and collecting the chair are the responsibility of Gotu and are included in the service.
• Billing Period: The rental period begins on the day the wheelchair leaves Gotu and ends on the day it returns to our facilities.
• Deposit Refund: Made after receipt and inspection of the chair, deducting the total rental amount (number of days * €5).
• Availability: Rental is subject to availability of stock reserved for this purpose.
• Time Limitation: The maximum rental period will be defined at the time of booking/contract.
• Identity Verification: You may be asked to provide valid proof of identification.
• Inspection: We reserve the right to inspect the chair before and after each rental.
• Damage Penalties: Damage beyond normal wear and tear or loss of the chair may result in partial or full retention of the deposit.
• Restrictions on Use: Any alteration, modification or inappropriate use of the car seat is prohibited.
• Usage Monitoring: Gotu reserves the right to request information or check the condition of the chair during the rental period.
