The barefoot philosophy is at the heart of the Rio shoe design. Its wide, anatomically shaped toe box respects the natural shape of the foot, providing the necessary space for the toes to move and expand freely. This feature is fundamental for promoting correct posture, better balance, and healthy muscle development, avoiding the constrictions of conventional footwear. The heel counter is virtually nonexistent and flexible, allowing maximum freedom of movement for the ankle.
The experience of walking in Rio shoes is the closest thing to walking barefoot, with the necessary protection for everyday life. The rubber sole is thin, completely flat (zero drop) and very flexible , allowing the child to feel the different surfaces of the ground. This sensitivity is crucial for the development of balance and proprioception. In addition, the sole is non-slip, offering safety in every game, and the flat, removable insole does not interfere with the natural formation of the arch of the foot.
Designed for the daily routine of parents and children, these shoes are incredibly practical. The two Velcro straps not only ensure a perfect and secure fit for different instep types (medium to high), but also foster the child's independence, allowing them to put on and take off their shoes independently. How do I know which size to choose?
To find your size, simply measure the length of your foot. To do this, measure the distance from your heel to the tip of your longest toe. ADD 1 CM TO YOUR FOOT MEASUREMENT TO SELECT THE CORRECT SIZE (the insole of the shoe should be between 0.8 and 1.2 cm longer than your foot measurement, no more and no less).
