GAME RULES

MASTER BLUFF

Contents : 48 cards; 5 alteration tokens; rules

Preparation

Six rule cards and the legend card are drawn from the deck. The oldest player shuffles and distributes the cards to all competitors, face down and in equal numbers. Any remaining cards are placed in the discarded cards deck. An alteration token is distributed to each player.

Development

The player who discards first wins.
all the cards in his hand. The player to the left of the dealer begins to discard one or more cards of the same type, declaring them out loud. The discarder may lie about the object of the card, but must still declare that the cards are all
of the same type (for example: «two elves», «two magicians», «two witches» or «three fairies», «three ogres», «three fools» and so on...).

If no one doubts the veracity of the declaration, the cards are placed on the discard pile and play passes to the next player, who in turn must discard cards of the same type as those declared by the previous player (for example, if the previous player had declared "two fairies", the next player can declare that he will discard "four fairies"). Change tokens

In turn, a competitor may play the alteration token which allows him to modify the type of card to be discarded in relation to the type declared by the previous competitor. The alteration token, after being played, must be set aside.

Bluff

After the player has discarded and declared his cards, any of the opponents, if they consider the declaration to be false, may say "Bluff!". This serves to verify the veracity of the declaration, with two possible results: if the declaration is true,
is true, the doubter will be penalized and will pick up all the cards discarded up to that moment. Vice versa, if the statement is false, the declarer will keep all the cards from the discard pile.
