The Joie Calmi Signature is an innovative and safe solution for transporting your newborn ( 40 to 70 cm , max. 9 kg), allowing them to travel completely flat (180°) , the most ergonomic position, both in the car (with the base) and in a stroller. Approved to standard R129/03 and tested by ADAC (with the base), it offers unique comfort and safety.

R129 Safety in Horizontal Position (with Encore base)
The Joie Calmi is one of the few carrycots approved for in-car use under the R129/03 standard (when used with the i-Base Encore), allowing your baby to travel fully reclining . This position is ideal for spinal development and breathing in the first few months. Safety is enhanced by energy-absorbing EPP foam, an internal 3-point harness, and excellent ADAC test results (with base).
Ergonomic Comfort and Practicality
The Calmi's biggest advantage is that it allows for longer trips without interruptions, as its lie-flat position eliminates the time constraints associated with traditional baby carriers. Weighing just 3.6 kg , it's lightweight and easy to transfer from the car (attached to the i-Base Encore) to a compatible stroller (Versatrax, Finiti, Aeria) without waking the baby. It features a waterproof canopy with UPF 50+ protection, a ventilation window, an adjustable handle, storage pockets, and washable linings.
