Game of 30 cards that promote children's skills and self-confidence and family conversation.
Among the superpowers we can find Gratitude, Autonomy, Courage and Altruism. Each game brings 30 cards and 1 book so that the family can explore each of these superpowers.
For children aged 5 and over (although it can be used with children of any age and also with adults)
Contains - 30 illustrated cards with 30 superpowers (skills) that we can develop in each of us
The selected skills have been studied as fundamental for the balanced construction of the human being, promoting their well-being and success at various levels throughout life.
Usage suggestions:
1. The superpower of the week - The child takes a card, either randomly or chosen by him/herself, from the deck. He/she reads the superpower and the example given and explores the illustration (what he/she observes, questions he/she has, what he/she thinks happened). The adult can ask questions that facilitate the conversation about the written example and/or the illustration. Then, throughout the week (or that day) each child will be attentive and will try to practice the superpower in the ways he/she finds and chooses (it does not have to be the example). If you feel that the child needs help to know how to practice the skill, you can:
First, together, list examples that illustrate this superpower. At the end of each day or week, share together what actions you have carried out. You can go on to make and acquire a set of "superpower medals".
2. The list of superpower actions - draw cards at random and for each superpower make a list of 5 actions (or more) that make that superpower a reality. Basically, actions that help the child develop the skill on the card.
3. Free conversation - at the end of dinner or during a snack, or even in the morning, if there is time, create the habit of randomly drawing a card from the deck and talking freely about the superpower that came out, exploring and discussing the written example and illustration. You can decide together which superpowers are missing in the
family experience.
