The WOMBAT SHELL is a versatile softshell coat, ideal for year-round use and specifically designed for pregnancy and babywearing. This coat is engineered to withstand all weather conditions, making it especially useful for outdoor activities. Thanks to its fleece lining, it offers exceptional thermal comfort, keeping both mother and baby warm. Nevertheless, the breathable fabric prevents overheating.

This trench coat features 4-in-1 functionality, adapting to the various stages of motherhood: pregnancy, front babywearing, back babywearing, and conventional use. It is compatible with any type of baby carrier or wrap and includes a central panel that allows for carrying the baby both in the front and on the back. Like all Wombat & Co. coats, it is suitable for children up to 3 or 4 years old.

And best of all: it can be worn as a regular coat for as long as you wish.

Regarding waterproofing, the WOMBAT SHELL is rain-resistant, with a water column rating exceeding 10,000 mm. This means the coat offers effective protection against unexpected rain during outdoor excursions.

During pregnancy, especially in the final stages when it's no longer possible to close the coat, simply attach an additional panel to gain space for your belly. This central panel has adjustable drawstrings that allow you to adapt the coat to the size of your belly throughout your pregnancy.

In addition to front babywearing, the coat also allows for back carrying. By purchasing an additional panel, it is even possible to carry two babies simultaneously. This adaptable panel adjusts to your baby's size, allowing for use until the child is 3 or 4 years old.
