The Axkid Up™ is a Group 2/3 car seat designed to offer maximum safety for children between 100 and 150 cm in height. This solution complies with the latest European standard UN R129, ensuring that the transition to travelling forward-facing is done with maximum protection and comfort.
Advanced Safety and Growth Adaptation
The Axkid Up™ was developed with a focus on adaptive safety. Although Axkid recommends keeping the child rear-facing for as long as possible, this seat represents the pinnacle of safety for the phase when the child must travel forward-facing (from 100 cm). Its main asset is the patented HeightControl™ technology. This feature allows both the seat base and the backrest to adjust in height simultaneously, ensuring that the vehicle's seat belt is always positioned perfectly over the child's shoulder and pelvis, regardless of their stature.
Robustness is guaranteed by the ProTecBase™ structure, which includes an integrated support leg and a solid steel construction, offering exceptional stability, especially when installed with ISOFIX. This seat is tested up to 50 kg, exceeding the standard requirement of 36 kg, providing an added margin of safety.
Comfort and Practicality for Everyday Life
Travelling long distances becomes more enjoyable with the ErgoSupport™ comfort system, which includes lumbar support designed to promote correct posture and ventilated fabric that helps regulate temperature. Practicality is enhanced with the QuickFold™ functionality, which allows the seat to be compactly folded in just 30 seconds, making storage or switching between vehicles easier.
Installation flexibility allows for the use of ISOFIX with a support leg for greater fixation, or just the car's 3-point seat belt. Its intelligent design, featuring SnapGuard™ (removable side protection wings), ensures the child is protected laterally, while allowing, in many vehicle models, the installation of up to three seats side-by-side in the back seat.
